Morphy Lake

Mora, NM ---- Morphy Lake and the small State Park that surrounds it were a great find. As the website description says: "Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at 8,000 feet in elevation, this hidden lake sits at the edge of the Pecos Wilderness. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and offers excellent fishing." There is a small campground, lots of frogs (maybe a photo of them another day), and an abundance of serenity.
