Santa Barbara Aspens

Santa Barbara, NM ---- There is a state park in Santa Barbara near Llano in New Mexico. The dirt back road is lined with aspens, many of which are carved with symbols of love --- hearts, initials, oaths of life-long fidelity --- on both English and Spanish. The trees are monumental and lovely. The rutted dirt road is somewhat hazardous but passable.
