Virgin Mary Shrine Grotto

Near Abiquiu, NM ---- Along Route 84 north of Abiquiu is a shrine to the Virgin Mary with crosses made of wood, stone, even highway reflectors. After the first shrine was vandalized, a second one was carved from this rock and the statue and other objects placed inside. It's one of those "roadside wonders" that are hard to pass by.
