Century Plant: Reimagined

Anegada, British Virgin Islands ---- This time of year the century plants in the Caribbean bolt. Huge pods of yellow burst out. They must be filled with wonderful nectar because they attract bees and birds. Five birds feasting on this one plant and, if you look closely, many big bumblebees. Photo from April 2007.
