La Iglesia de San Jose of Cabezon

Cabezon, NM
The church in Cabezon was orginally built in the late 1700's but burned down in Indian attacks. The new church was built in 1894. Local folks from nearby towns refurbished the church in the 1980's rescuing it from its use as a hayloft and from total disintegration. The wonderful church bell was once stolen, but recovered.
