Round and Round We Go: Bottle Wall
Sandia Park, NM
On a ride up the Turquoise Trail and heading toward Sandia Peak, I passed the Tinkertown Museum, a fascinating, imaginative work in progress. It was begun over 40 years ago with miniature wood-carved figures and since continues to grow, in spite of the passing in 2002 of its founder, Ross Ward. From their website I learned that 50,000 glass bottles form rambling walls that surround a 22 room museum. Go to www.tinkertown.com to learn more.
