Enjarre 2015: Mud Drying

During the enjarre, the walls are made wet and mud gets troweled onto the surface, now many layers thick, and it dries slowly. The church has been the subject of many noted paintings and photographs. It was a favorite subject for Georgia O'Keeffe. Here's one of the rear of the church (seen partially in yesterday's photo) that she painted in 1929. LINK to O'KEEFFE PAINTING
