Catching Sun After Rain

Taos, NM
Yesterday I embarked on a ten day photo tour with a group of folks from the Crealde School of Art from Winter Park, Florida. We used to live in Florida and I got my first lessons in photography at Crealde. When the school's director and my favorite teacher offered a tour of "The Four Corners," I signed up to join them, even though we live in Taos. The tour goes from Albuquerque up the Turquoise Trail with overnights in Santa Fe. Then on to Taos via the High Road. Then west to Durango, Colorado, to Monument Valley, on to Canyon de Chelly, and beyond. So the upcoming photos have been pre-scheduled. I hope you enjoy them and look forward in July to photos from my trip. Today's photo is of the solar installation a neighbor recently installed. In the background is her house with vegas showing through the wall, a coyote fence, and Taos Mountain. For me a nice combination of the modern and the ancient.
