Aster Field

It's autumn. The rains came in August and the fields, especially the high meadows, are filled with asters, sunflowers, chamisa, and lots of other wildflowers. This photo was made near the Shuree Ponds in the Valle Vidal, an amazing part of the Carson National Forest. Elevation about 9000 feet.
