Many Shells

Ocracoke, NC
Of course, on a coastal island collecting shells is a frequent pastime. People use the shells in varying ways: to adorn trees, to "pave" driveways and sandy roads, to embellish railings, to mulch fig trees, or just to cover up something considered unsightly. This batch of shells covered the top of a concrete septic tank. I was playing with the LensBaby lens.
