This is a location I return to often because the sun sets behind the point just beyond this pier. And for all the times I’ve been there, I hadn’t until the evening of this photo, noticed the reflections of the falling light on a series of what appear to be concrete slabs at the water’s edge. The surprise made a fresh image in my mind that I needed to try to capture.
