The Methodist Church in Ocracoke provides services that reach throughout the community. Over quite some time people have pitched in to fund raise and upgrade the rec hall of the church; the improvements are now completed. Many of the Christmas activities in the village are organized through the church. We can only hope that the new minister arriving this summer will carry on this vibrant tradition – so well done for quite a few years by minister Joyce Reynolds. — RM —
