There is a loop road that winds through the badlands that is a fantastic geologic ride. The engineering of the road defied logic since it was based on scenery, not stability. It’s not too long in terms of mileage, but don’t be surprised if it takes most of the day, since you will probably be stopping often along the way. — RM —
