Alma, Kansas is a town full of stone buildings, all the stone quarried in the area. The iron and stone hold up pretty well, but the wood needs constant attention, which is often lacking in a town trying to hold on. Another spot full of closed businesses and antique/second hand shops. Turns out that a new friend bought an old velvet quilt in this town and years later we bought it at a charity art auction a thousand miles away. Small world indeed. — RM —
