Another fine beach find on the west end afternoon outing. It was so gorgeous out there. Sophie (our dog) and I exploring and walking the shore, then reading and relaxing in the shade. She is never fully present when we move far away from George; has to keep turning to check on him and hesitates often to see if I will turn back. If I continue, she will usually opt for new territory over worry. Smart dog. But she is always really happy when the family reunites. — RM —
