Patterns on Shuree Pond

An infrared photo of one of the Shuree Ponds in the Valle Vidal, taken in the summer of 2011, before the forest fires while the area was still accessible. It is always so peaceful there at over 9000 feet elevation. Few people, some chipmunk, and an occasional elk.
