Angelina at Chimayo

For those of you who have been following this "journey" for the past 48 images, please know that this is the last of them. I've chosen this portrait of our youngest co-traveler because she brought a great spirit to the entire adventure. Her young eyes inspired me (and perhaps others) to have young eyes too, even though some of the locations we visited were very familiar to me. On the Sunday we visited Chimayo, Angelina was dressed in her best (not the hot pink she prefers!) ... and she wore her modest cross. Throughout the trip Angelina indulged me by patiently posing, for which I'm grateful. I know that I'll see her and her mom and dad again from time to time, and it'll be a joy to watch her grow.
