Taos, NM
The balloon rally in Taos was held on the last weekend in October. Not quite as famous as the festival in Albuquerque, or as large, it’s still quite a spectacle. You walk around close to the laid out balloons, watching how they get filled with “hot air.” Pretty impressive stuff. — RM —
