You can’t go wrong with this group of plants if you want to try xeriscaping – gardening with plants that need minimal care and can survive a drought or an unreliable waterer (that would be me). There are so many kinds of succulents, and they seem quite a bit friendlier than their cactus cousins. Soft, fleshy and lush, you can actually see the water stored in them for that non-rainy day. — RM —
