Five Birds – Anegada, BVI
Anegada, BVI - In May, all over Anegada, the century plants bolt. The local folk call them Christmas trees. The colorful yellow flowers attract bees and birds. Here there are five birds (mostly hummingbirds) at one time, plus some bees.

Beautiful! 4 birds on this nice yellow superimposed by nature on a white cloud. Wished there was another picture zooming in on the hummingbird also!
This picture gave me an idea: why not print these postcards and sell them in the tourist shops in Anegada with the profit going to equipment for young Anegadians – who can use it to learn the basics from you and continue that intiative?

A truly beautiful shot. I live in the B.V.I. and just thought I’d let you know that in fact only one bird is a hummer; the other three are Bananaquits. I believe the one at the top is a Northern Mocking Bird. They are especially vocal and are the only true song bird in the B.V.I.
