Bromeliad in Cactus
Anegada, British Virgin Islands ----- Much of Anegada is still very much wild. It's a large island, about 15 square miles, which is slightly more than 2/3 the size of Manhattan. The population in 2010 was about 285. In an area of the island called "the desert" bromeliads grow on slow trees and in clumps of cactus. I found them lovely to look at and difficult to photograph.
