Oratorio Nuestra Senora de Esquipula
Ancones, NM ---- There was a small sign on the side of the road pointing to a small chapel down a dirt road in a valley. We were curious. Luckily there was an elderly gentleman working on a bulldozer there. He greeted us, had the key, and showed us inside. He told how a few years ago local folks took this 1850's building which has just about collapsed and brought it back to life as a religious center for this small community. I made some photos inside and will show them at another time.
